Our Story

Advancing Limits, Elevating Perspectives

Our journey began in Haiti in late 2016, when commercial drones were opening new possibilities for the work we could do from above.

The beginning

A vision that took flight in Haiti

In the latter months of 2016, as commercial drone operations gained momentum, Dr. Jean-Sebastien D’Alexis founded Sky Robotics. A physician specializing in women’s health, entrepreneur and aviation enthusiast, he saw how even small innovations could make a meaningful difference.

That vision was tested by personal challenges and the rising insecurity in Haiti. Still, the work continued. Sky Robotics spent its early years building experience locally, often out of the spotlight, in security, agriculture, photography and videography, and construction.

2019 and beyond

A wider horizon

In 2019, collaborations with overseas partners including Limestone Analytics and Sandler’s Consultancy added new perspectives to the work. The experience helped Sky Robotics grow beyond its early local projects while staying rooted in the resolve that started it.
